How to Reset iPad?

 To wipe your iPad or when you want to return to its original setting, you can factory reset it. A factory reset simply wipes your personal data, apps, settings to empty the iPad back to the fresh out of the box settings. To safely reset your iPad follow these step by step instructions.

Step 1: Backup Your Data

Before performing a factory reset, it’s essential to back up your data to avoid losing important information. You can use iCloud or iTunes/Finder on your computer to create a backup.

To back up using iCloud:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top and select iCloud.
  3. Scroll down and tap iCloud Backup.
  4. Tap Back Up Now and wait for the backup to complete.

To back up using iTunes (Windows) or Finder (Mac):

  1. Connect your iPad to your computer using a USB cable.
